Note: This guide will help you create and configure your account for optimal use with our applications.
Creating Your Account
Follow these steps to create a new account:
- Open the application and tap on "Sign Up" or "Create Account"
- Enter your email address (this will be your username)
- Create a strong password (at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols)
- Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your profile by adding your name and preferences
Pro Tip: If you use Apple devices, consider using "Sign in with Apple" for a faster setup and enhanced privacy.
Profile Configuration
After creating your account, you should configure your profile settings:
Personal Information
- Profile picture (optional but recommended)
- Display name (how you'll appear to others if using social features)
- Time zone (important for scheduling and notifications)
- Language preference
Notification Settings
Customize how and when you receive notifications:
- Push notifications for mobile devices
- Email notifications for important updates
- Newsletter subscription (optional)
- Update and feature announcements
Privacy Settings
Control who can see your information and how your data is used:
- Profile visibility (public, friends only, or private)
- Data sharing preferences
- Third-party integrations
- Analytics participation (helps us improve the app)
Connecting Devices
To use your account across multiple devices:
- Install the application on your other devices
- Open the app and select "Sign In" instead of creating a new account
- Enter the same email and password used during account creation
- Verify the new device if prompted (for security purposes)
- Wait for your data to sync across devices
Important: For security reasons, we may send a verification code to your email when signing in from a new device or location.
Account Recovery Options
Set up recovery options to ensure you don't lose access to your account:
- Add a recovery email address
